Another Great Weekend

We just got back from another really nice weekend at Birch Bay. Each time we go, and as Sam gets older, I realize how fortunate we are to have this amazingly beautiful place to visit. He loves it more and more each time and gets so excited as we drive up. He knows exactly where Grandma's house is and then runs in to find her. This trip, we thought he was old enough to start a tradition of going to the C-Shop, the local candy and ice-cream store. His eyes were so big, staring at all the goodies. He chose a piece of licorice and a waffle cone with a huge scoop of lemon sorbet. Other highlights were swimming at the Birch Bay Village pool with Grandpa, a fabulous indian meal, mommy driving, waking Grandpa up at 6 am with a giant talking plastic dinosaur and skim-boarding with Uncle Jordan.
