We spent Charlotte's actual birthday on the Washington Coast with Mark, Esther, Ruthie and Leah. It was a lovely few days away and very special to spend that extra time with our family. Maslow and Jenna were also there for a few days as well as some of Esther's family. It was an extra fun birthday week because it was also Auntie Esther's birthday that week!
Charlotte spent her day eating cupcakes and cake and playing on the beach. To our surprise, she quickly warmed up to the ocean and enjoyed playing in the waves with her dad. It was a wonderful place to celebrate her first year! Thank you for a great week, Mark & Esther.

Loved having you at the beach with us! We got lucky with weather!!! The smiles from these photos are so evident of the joy we shared there. :) And I can't stop giggling about Ruthie's face in the waves!
