Today we woke up to a gorgeous sunny day, not a cloud in the sky! We packed up the kids and headed down to Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium. The kids had never been before, so it was very exciting to Sam, who told just about everyone who made eye contact with him. "This is my first time here. I love all cephalopods. Anything with tentacles". We had a really lovely time walking in the sunshine and checking out all the amazing animals. Sam had an especially cool encounter with a very curious tiger!

Please tell Sam that Point Defiance is my favorite zoo--we went there all the time when I was a little girl. The photos are great--everyone clearly enjoying the gorgeous day and the fabulous critters.
