8 Months

Charlotte turned 8 months old today! She has had a bit of a rough month since she recently dealt with chickenpox, but she did just great and is recovering wonderfully. I admit, I did erase all the pox off her face for these photos, I couldn't help it. Charlotte is beginning to crawl everywhere and get into everything. This is a challenging stage and a big change from the "sitter" stage, but we are thrilled to watch her develop and grow so quickly. She loves anything that is not a toy (cardboard boxes, bubble wrap and water bottles) and she is always trying to get her hands on Sam's toys (especially the Lego). She enjoys all food and often eats whatever we eat (I just blend it up for her in the magic bullet). Other than intermittent teething episodes, she is the happiest and most joyful baby (although we are noticing she does have a bit of a crazy streak like her brother)! Sam has taken to calling her Charlie, pronounced Shar-lee. Knowing that she is already 8 months, we just cannot believe that we will be celebrating her first birthday in only 4 short months.
