Our Easter Sunday

On Easter Sunday, Sam woke up to find that The Easter Bunny had visited! He was very interested with what happened to the long skinny carrot he left for the bunny's snack. He inspected the ginger-ale ("Easer Bunny dwank fizzy dwink!", he said) and frantically searched the house for hidden eggs. The Easter Bunny was very creative and even hid some treats in Sam's trains!

Later on, we went to Mark & Esther's house for a lovely afternoon and dinner. Grandma Anya and JoPa were also there and we had a great visit. The kids were thrilled with all their treats (lucky kids had another egg hunt!) and we all enjoyed a delicious meal together. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful family. It was so nice to spend time with them on such a special day.

Here are a few photos I took of the day. The later ones were taken with my small camera, so they aren't great, but better than nothing!

It looks like your Easter was a wonderful one, Sam! How nice you got to be with Anya and Jopa on such a special day. The chocolate bunny looks very yummy too. Did you share with Daddy? Great pic of Sam and Ruthie standing, Jen.
