The Eye Doctor

Sam just went for his first eye checkup. Good news - the glasses are working wonders! The doctor said everything looked perfect. The exact name of his condition is: Accommodative Esotropia. They said that if all goes well (which they believe it will) they will wean him off the glasses around age 7 or 8. Sam was very well behaved during the exam and before we knew it, we were done! Way to go, Sam! We are so proud of you and your glasses!

I agree 100% with Great Grandma Naomi!!! The picture is a beauty! Jen, this blog is absolutely a gift to so many of us who live far away. I check it daily in hopes that there will be something new. Your precious words about your son and your fabulous photography have made this blog a real treasure.

Thank you!

Well done, Sam, for wearing your glasses so diligently!
