Today Sam turned 9 months old! We can hardly believe it. He has grown up and changed so much right in front of our eyes. We feel so lucky to share our life with him!
He has become a professional crawler. He motors around the house as fast as anyone could! He moves around by holding on to various pieces of furniture and has the odd big fall. Not only is it exciting for us to witness him grow, but it must be a lot of fun for him as he discovers new things!
Eating is also a huge amount of fun for us. I am amazed at the amount of food he eats. Apparently he is allowed to eat as much as he wants... and he does! He now has 6 teeth and I believe he is working on a couple more! Speaking of teeth - he just discovered biting peoples shoulders over the last few days. NOT FUN...
He will be going for his 9 month check-up on Tuesday so I'll be sure to update you all on his new weight and height!
We are off to Fred Meyer now to buy some new plants for the garden!
By the way, the other day Mike said "Everyday just keeps getting better! Put that in the blog honey! Everyday with Sam gets better and better!"

Hi Jen,
Good job on the blog - I've been trying to get it together to create one - my Central America blog didn't quite come together the way it was supposed to - I guess it helps if you write something every now and again - I don't seem to have the discipline that your mom does!! Looks like you'll have your hands full with Samuel - he's a cute little bugger!!
We are still planning a trip to Seattle sometime soon and we'll keep you posted.

For those of us who don't get to see Sam very often..it's just perfect. I love the more modern Baby Book!! You are an amazing writer Jen. You must get it from your Ma...or..did she pick it up from you? Hmmmmmm....I love the photos and I can totally pick up your sense of humour in your writing. Sam is so lucky to have such fantastic photos of himself, not to mention all the love in his life. I will look forward to this blog Jen. You rock!!
